Adventures in Blue Ridge Dining
Smoky barbecue, pizza, burgers, Mexican, ice cream, cupcakes and more … you’ll discover delectable dining here!
Mix a little mountain air with some outdoor activity and, suddenly, what’s for dinner (or breakfast or lunch!) becomes the most important question of the day. Turns out, altitude does affect appetite!
Fortunately, the Blue Ridge mountains are home to some truly inspired chefs. Homegrown favorites include the proverbial meat-and-three, as well as smoky barbecue, delectable pasta and fresh trout. And several cutting-edge chefs from across the South have heeded the call of the mountains and brought fine dining to our area with tantalizing appetizers and full-course meals.
And did you know? You can enjoy beer and wine at many Fannin County restaurants. In the city of Blue Ridge itself, you can also order mixed drinks (even on Sundays) at select restaurants.
